SOCIAL STUDIES: Moving West
Many people wanted to move West
To travel by train, you have to have a railroad track or train track
To travel by train, you have to have a railroad track or train track
One of the fastest way of transportation was by train
There are a lot of tracks in the East of America
But there were not many tracks in the West
So if we want to travel from the East to the West
We would have to build a lot of railroad tracks. So they have 2 groups
One group started in Nebraska
The other started in California
So 2 groups build towards each other to finish the railroad track.
And they met up in Utah to join 2 tracks together to make a long railroad track
So the railroad track join the East Coast with the West Coast
Today, we have different kinds of trains
Example: High Speed Train
It is built differently from the classic train
It has a rounded face so it can cut through the air very fast
We use computers to help run the trains
So today, we have different kinds of trains that can help us to travel from cities to cities faster
Transportation has change a lot over time
