Method of Doubt:
This consisted to relate it to a barrel of apples in which you can see good ones and bad ones, and it was the job of a philosopher to separate them and leaving only the good ones.

In the book he published in 1637 called “Discourse on the Method” he established that he would no longer study through books, only through himself and the world.
He decided to start traveling and learning through different kinds of people and experiences around the world.
Solitary End:
In 1619, Descartes stopped doing some meditation by himself declaring that it was the “Solitary End of philosophy” and that the greatest problems in life could be solved by just looking deep inside of each one of us.
He established that all that one needed to do was to have a rational mind, to think, reflect and to be in a quiet place.
