Reality
David Hume explains that each person has their own reality. He arguments his theory with the idea that perceptions are part of experiences, and each person lives in a different way the experiences and due to this, each person has its own perception of things. Due to this, we can´t generalize of how reality is, because each person has its own reality.

Two types of perceptions
Impressions
We live them only in the present, we have an impression through our sight because to see is to perceive. They are instantaneously
Ideas
They are nothing but memories of the impressions we once got, an idea is the perception of what happened in the past. Ideas depend on impressions.

Humans
David Hume affirms that, we as humans aren't able to know certainly anything at all. As we acquire knowledge from the perception of our own experiences and perception is different in every human mind, we only can get to know different perceptions. There are no innate ideas nor true ones, everything is a perception and it depends on who observes it.
Two types of Ideas
Simple
They are unique elements, such as colors.
