Morgan Hawk, Senior Graphic Designer, Root Inc (Rootinc.com)
Morgan at Work
I have a strong work ethic, but at times it can be stressed. I have been learning how to "power through" when things don't go the way I want them too, or the way I think they should.
I want to be valued, as a human and as an artist. I have a purpose to be there and while feedback is almost always good, I don't want to be put down by others in different fields because they think they know better.
I believe the career fits my personality type, creative and hard working, also open and quick on my feet to make a joke.
Making sure that any graphics I create are inclusive and not putting anyone down. I make things "look pretty" but there is also an avenue that I am responsible for how the end consumer views and receives the piece. I want to put out a good image for my company and one that does not offend or make judgements.
Long Term Goals
I hope to buy a house, and invest in the stock market successfully. I hope for savings to increase by at least a thousand every year, so that I will have plenty for when I need it.
Again, I would like to buy a house, but also a car so that I have reliable transportation to and from work. I may go back to grad school or Law school depending on my career outlook.

LIfe-Long Learner
I hope to attend the Adobe conference, along with keeping up on amany evolving and growing channels for tutorials and techniques as the community continues to evolve.
Typography, Asymmetry, Warm colors, Gradients (Trends)
Job growth in graphic design lies in management for Root inc, past the senior level). There are also different departments the pull less from Graphic Design, and more from the technical problem solving VCT provides, Learning designers.
I do not need another degree to stay on my path, however I may want to make a change and need a background in marketing, business, or another technological field.
Compensation
It is hard to say but from what I can tell it is around $50,000 with some outliers at $60,000 a year
Full medical, dental, and 401K, no profit sharing, but incentive bonuses and a laptop, along with snacks in the office.
There isn't really a difference, I will still live in BG, but if I moved to Sylvania, cost of living would go up by about $1,500 a month.
Since I will still be living in BG, my current rent plus utilities is $1,100 a month.
(link given, page not found error) My best guess would be about $500 (grocery mostly, $800 if I eat out a lot)
