- Start within 20th century where the old people do a data storytelling
- It also start with a craved in a cave
- In 2nd century in Egypt, they make a table by using rows and columns
- Then, start to make a graph using x-axis and y-axis
- Invention of paper and parchment allowed further development of visualizations throughout history

- Now data visualization more focused and unique to individuals, programming languages such as D3, Python and JavaScript help to make the visualization of quantitative data a possibility.
