Heart
Generates high hydrostatic pressure to pump blood out of the heart, while also creating low pressure to bring it back in. It does 100,000 beats a day, 35 million a year and 2 to 3 billion in a lifetime. The heart divides in epicardium, myocardium and endocardium.
Steps
The heart is divided in two sides by a little thing called septum, which creates four chambers, two of them are the superior atria (low pressure areas) and the other two are inferior ventricles (high pressure areas).
Each chamber has an assigned valve, which is like a guard. When a valve opens, the blood flows to the next chamber, and when it closes, no more blood can pass.
In the heart, blood passes through the left atrial, then to the left ventricle, then it goes to the lungs to get oxygen, then it goes back to the right ventricle and then to the right atrial and after it, it goes to the arteries.
