Lab Values
There are no laboratory tests available that can determine whether or not a person has Alzheimer's disease. However, studies have shown that there are correlations between certain lab values and those with Alzheimer's Disease
If Amyloid Beta 42 peptide in the CSF is decreased Aß42, then this indicates an increased likelihood of Alzheimer's.
