Since she moved to Denver from Fort Worth the elevation is very different so it’ll be harder for her to take full breaths and have normal breathing
With her having a viral infection her immune system can’t fight it off which lead her to having pneumonia
All these factors are related because her age makes her have a weak immune system so she can’t fight off the infection. The altitude in Denver makes it hard for her to breath . Which leads to her having pneumonia.
With her being in Colorado and the elevation being much higher the effects of it on her respiration is

She has a wet, wheezing cough because of the fluid and mucus build up in and around her lungs
With her being 70 this effects her respiration because the weaker immune system the harder it is for her to fight the viral infection making it harder to breathe
-
The direct cause of these problems are her being of old age which makes pneumonia more common and the high elevation making it harder to breath and her infection
