is the medical condition in which patient presents with abnormal high level of glucose circulating in their bloodstream(Better Health Channel 2014).

two main kinds
fasting hypergycaemia
it a blood glucose level that is higher than 180mg/dl 2 hours after eating.so it is rare for people without diabetes to have blood glucose that is over 140mg/dl after eating, unless it is really large.

pathophysiology
it si due to a decrease in the production of insulin, a decrease in the action insulin or combination of the two abnormalities.
mild hypergycaemia causes no symptoms, but more sever hypergycaemia causesan increase in volume and thirst, fatigue and weakness, and increase susceptibility to infection.
