Karst Landforms
- Well-developed features on dry limestone that have a patchy thin soil cover and surface/subsurface features
- Common in tropics & mid-latitudes due to vegetation
- Affected by past climates and changes in sea level
- Late Pleistocene during the last glacial maximum: coastal limestone beds were exposed and subject to weathering, developing karsts
- Holocene (rise of sea level): partially submerged karsts
