Definition
this complication results in people with diabetes associated with neuropathy, inadequate blood supply or a combination of both
pathophysiology
Poor glycemic control complicates these factors infected areas heal slowly because the damaged vascular system cannot carry sufficient oxygen, white blood cells , nutrients and antibodies to the injured site

Neuropathic ulcers can result from mechanical injury to the foot, such as cuts and burns.

Never walk barefoot,always wear clean socks.
Daly inspection for swelling , colour , temperature , cuts or signs of trauma then report immediately.
