Climate factors
Elevation affects local climate. As elevation increases, temperatures become cooler. This has to do with air density
I chose La paz because it is one of the highest cities in the world about 3640m above sea level Because o its elevation it never goes past 18 celsius because the higher you are the further you are to the equator making it colder

relief
We use the word relief to describe the difference in height between the highest and lowest point of a mountain
I chose the Rockies because there are a lot of mountains such as Mount Elbert and Mount Robson, which means there is a lot more rain
-
Ninety percent of ocean currents are cold deep water currents. Cold currents begin in the polar regions and bring cold wear towards the equator
i chose new found land because there are a lot of ocean currents because it is on the right side next to the Atlantic ocean, the currents come from Nunavut down the Newfoundland making Newfoundland warm during winters

latitude
I chose Ecuador because the equator is located along the equator, (how the country got its name) because it is along the equator it is 0 degrees of latitude. at Manuel Cordova Galarza you can even see the one that goes through the entire village.

Air Masses/ wind
All warm ari comes from the equator. All cold air comes from the poles. All gets mixed up becuase the earth is spinning
Prairies, The prairies ar vast and wide open which means warm air travels easily up from the south in the summer causing rain when it meets cold air.
