  - - - One of her experience on was to participate in the creation of a BICC (Business Intelligence Competency Center) at a governmental institution. This experience has thought her a lot about the importance of data quality and availability. Indeed, the project itself was started with the desire to increase the data quality level, centralize the data and make it available to all users and facilitate the use of the data in order to make informed decisions at the government. This was a real challenge as all involved parties did not always align on data definitions, the data flows where neither documented nor widely known or understood and no responsibilities where agreed upon when it came to data management. To achieve in planning for timely data, satisfying the standards, they had to be aware of the different roles and responsibilities to define (data owners, data steward, etc.), detail existing data processes, define data requirements and timings. The project supported all of this and helped setting a strong structure prior to the change by defining a detailed roadmap and BICC Charter together with the client.
    - - Her first experience at Valipac was a project composed of three parts, the data warehouse creation, the data modelling and the report creation for the client, Mathilde was involved in all steps (data warehouse modelling, ETL, framework modelling, reporting, dashboarding) with a focus on the data modelling and report building parts. The tools used were DataStage, IBM Framework manager and Cognos analytics. She is a certified Cognos Analytics Author. She has also worked on another project, supporting the introduction of new dimensions into an existing data model.
    - - While working at KBC, a big part of her work was to participate in the design of API solutions which would replace existing file transfers or EUC tools. As the functional analyst of the project her role was to understand the business requirements and make sure by participating in the design of the future solution that all needs of the different data consumers where satisfied timely.
        Prior to that, Mathilde also participated in the preparation of a BICC creation at a governmental institution. The idea was to create a new entity, dedicated only to an enhancement in the way they dealt with and used their data. The purpose was to valorize the available data but also to smoothen the existing data processes in order to ensure more clarity, a more efficient data management and eventually start using data to make informed decision.
    - - At Valipac, one of her prior clients, active in the recycling industry, the team had decided to provide their users with an online profile where they could have an overview of their own statistics as recyclers. Workshops where created with the client prior to the dashboard creation in order to define the core KPI’s to use. As this was the second project she participated on for this client, the team had already gathered a good understanding of the client’s business and was able to support the KPI definition very efficiently and with good knowledge of the industry. Once the KPI defined and desired branding, the dashboards where designed using Cognos Analytics.
    - - Mathilde has experience providing trainings at the client's side for the use of Cognos analytics (IBM reporting tool). She has given two different classes, one for new users and one for business users who wanted to discover the new version of the tool. She utterly enjoyed the experience!
    - - During her project at KBC and as the functional analyst, Mathilde actively participated in API design. The process of API design started with having an overview of the required data to generated the API family. To do so, Mathilde had to understand who was consuming the data, where it could be sourced, what each data field meant and how they were calculated, what they were used for etc. All this was a pre-requirement to be able to correctly group data into APIs and API families.
    - - Mathilde did indirect monitoring of the data flows. First when they were set in place, to define the exact scheduling requirement, and later to follow-up on eventual adjustments if needed for the business process to work smoothly.
  - - - Mathilde has more than two years of experience in the data field, she had the occasion to perform various tasks and participated in very different projects during that time. Hereby an overview of the achievements she’s most proud of:
        
        Participation in preparing the new BICC (Business Intelligence Competency Center) at a government entity (BOSA), which included the organization of workshop with the client, designing all data related processes, developing a BICC Charter for the organization, designing a roadmap for their transition;
        
        Giving a training at the client’s side for the use of Cognos Analytics, which was the BI tool used to create all their reports and getting certified for the tool;
        
        Working with the client on the definition of new KPI’s, for them but also for their users with the goal of creating a user’s profile with some analytics of their profile
        
        Participating in the transition to API’s use at KBC Asset Management, where she assumed to role of functional analyst on the API development project named FIS (Fund Information Services)
    - - During her project at Valipac, a client within the recycling industry, Mathilde has been involved in the creation of a new data warehouse and the data modelling that followed it. However, her biggest responsibility was the reporting.
    - - Mathilde has been using SQL throughout several past experience, mostly for testing purposes. For instance, for one of her projects, at Valipac, she did a thorough testing of all report charts, comparing them systematically with database queries, using SQL.
    - - While participating in a BICC (Business Intelligence Competency Center) development project at BOSA, all data related processes had to be designed for the client, insure data quality was one of the main focusses, this would be achieved mostly through the definition of key roles within the organization (data owner, data steward, etc.)
    - - At KBC, and as a functional analyst, Mathilde often acted as the SPOC for a lot of matters related to her project, interacting with the different parties (data consumers, data providers, etc.) in order to define the change impact, make the necessary agreements and follow-up during and after development. She enjoys this role and has been able to develop strong communication skills thanks to that experience.
    - - During several of her previous projects she was involved in data management process documentation, change and design. Up until now she was mostly using Microsoft Visio or Excel to do so but she would be very keen on working with tools like BPMN BonitaSoft, that she had discovered during her masters at Solvay Business School of Economics and Management.

    - - Knowledge of Cognos Analytics (reporting tool) and certified Author.
        Cognos is an equivalent of Tableau but from a different vendor.
    - - On all the projects she is worked on until now Mathilde always attached a lot of importance on working closely whit her team (being present on site for meetings/workshops/sprint planning events, communicate all core information via Teams or email, setting up meetings quickly where required, preparing and setting up workshops with the development team to discuss blocking matters). Moreover, she has always in AGILE environment and she is well-known to practices like daily huddles, collaborative PI planning’s, etc.
