CERVICAL CANCER
Definition
•This is a malignant tumour of the cervix,
the lower most part of the uterus.
Pathophysiology
Cervical cancer begins in the outer layer of
the cervix. This outer layer is called cervical epithelium.
Tiny changes begin in epithelial cells, over time the cells
may become cancerous and grow out of control.
