Biotechnology
Cloning
pros
Reproductive Cloning lets parents with no eggs or sperm be able to create children that are genetically related.

cons
-
There would be a lack of uniqueness among the cloned humans, and they would be looked at as less than a human.
GMOS
pros
GMOS have been created with desirable traits. They can have traits like being able to have a resistance to browning in apples, or being able to withstand the direct application of herbicide and/or to produce an insecticide. These types of desirable qualities can be used to peoples advantages and can improve profit.
GMOS have supported our ability to produce adequate food. GMOS have supported growth in agricultural productivity. Also, properly managed genetically modified crops have the potential to lower both pesticide use and tiling which erodes soil.
cons
GMOS pose an imminent threat to farmer sovereignty. The biotech companies are using GMOS to grow food faster. The farmers income will then be taken by these companies and then the farmers may have to find a new job.
GMOS could be a health concern. The safety of GMOS is unknown, the GMOS could possibly hurt us or even KILL US. There is not enough research to prove they're safe. So they could very well be a imminent danger to our health.
Genetically Modified crops are responsible for the emergence of "superweeds" and "superbugs". So we can already see that it can create some nasty annoying things.
