Pro: Bioremediation is good because it can clean up our
water. It can be used in sewage treatment plants to give people access to clean water.
Pro: Bioremediation can clean up our air. Bioremediation can clean harmful pollutants out of the air to make it healthier for us to breathe.

Con: Bioremediation takes a very long time to develop. The complexity of bioremediation takes a very long time to create and use,
Con: If the human job is not done well, then bioremediation can actually be very bad for the environment. If it is not well controlled, it is possible the organic contaminants of it may not be broken down fully, resulting in toxic materials.
GMO's
Pro: GMO's are good because they help feed the hungry. There are millions of people who don't have enough to eat, and by genetically modifying crops, we can increase crop yields to feed those who need to be fed. There is a potential to end world hunger or come very close to ending it using GMO's.
Pro: GMO's are good because scientist can filter in good traits. By filtering in good traits, scientists can increase how much of a vitamin is in a crop, which could help people with a deficiency of the vitamin. Scientists can also make a crop resistant to herbicides so that the herbicides don't kill the crops.
Con: GMO's are bad because they promote the use of herbicides on crops. GMO's can make plants resistant to herbicides, so more farmers use them. Most herbicides, when used in large amounts, can be harmful to the environment and to humans as well.
Con: GMO's are bad because they can hurt farmers. Biotechnology companies get to decide where their crops go, and so large companies will be able to pay to get the rights to grow these GMO's, but normal farmers will not. This could pose a serious threat to farmers everywhere.
Artificial Selection
Con: Artificial selection lowers the overall quality of life for animals and plants. Artificial selection can mess up the gene pool and possibly shorten the life of offspring.
Con: Artificial selection can lessen a gene pool. If genes from two groups are too similar it can create harmful mutations.
Pro; Artificial selection can increase profit from plants. Artificial selection increases the size and life of plants, this makes plants worth more than they once were.
Pro: Artificial selection can be used for almost any type of industry that needs it. It can be used for many different things, so it is especially useful.
Cloning
Pro; Lives could be saved. Cloning could create new organs for people that need them. There would be no need for a donor, which would make it much more likely that an organ could be found to donate to someone who needs it.
Pro: Cloning would allow for more efficient food production around the world. Cloning could create basically an infinite source of food, this could save people who are starving and potentially fix world hunger.
Con: Cloning comes at the risk of losing diversity of a species. By cloning, you create the same thing over and over again, filtering out any differences and diversity.
Con: Cloning colul speed up aging. This is because when placing dna in an embryo, part of the dna's age is transferred over as well.
