Luteinizing Hormone - Female: stimulate the development of corpus luteum, release of oocyte, production of estrogen and progesterone.
Male: stimulate the secretion of testosterone, development of interstitial tissue of testes.
Growth Hormone- promotes/stimulates the growth of bones and muscles, promotes protein synthesis,fat metabolism and decrease carbohydrate metabolism
Thyroid Stimulating Hormone - stimulates secretion of thyroid hormone.
Prolactin - prepares the female breast.
Follicle-Stimulating Hormone - Female: stimulate growth of ovarian follicles and ovulation. Male: Sperm production
Adrenocorticotrophic Hormone - stimulates synthesis and secretion of adrenal cortical hormones.
