- - - - I think it would be cool to have art of animals that people see to be 'ugly' and 'disgusting' and portray them in a positive manner. for instance rats or racoons
  - - - I thought I could make a art for other people as a donation, similar to the portraits that educate makes for other people as a donation.
  - - - I really like this piece because it looks very simply and focuses on the pose, it perfectly shows how still the person needs to be and the focus it requires. also the model is nude which I think is oddly perfect for yoga since it suppose ot be bringing the person back to their natural state (in terms of breathing)
  - - - Also because people like to care. Even in this world where individualism is on the rise, being a “provider” increases self-worth. That’s one of the reasons people have pets and care for babies, even in the times they are howling on the top of their voice for that candy. Being the one to hand that piece of candy and make the child hug you in appreciation makes you feel worthy, needed.
        
        I chose to use babies for my acrylic project. It combined a lot of things relating to happiness but I thought that babies were the best subject because they are innocent in the world and have not been ruined with the reality of life.
- - - - This painting is one of the most famous pieces from this time period. It has a somewhat risqué composition depicting the mistress of the Baron de Saint-Julien. This young girl, positioned at the composition's centre, appears on a swing, wearing a pink dress. She is pushed by a smiling man, who does not realise another man is amongst the shrubs, looking up her skirt..
  - - - As a work of light-hearted entertainment, there is no complex meaning or story behind the piece. It is a bright, cheerful scene meant for amusement and delight.
  - - - Girl with a dog by Jean-Honoré Fragonard created in 1770. This is a perfect example of something that doesn't have a very significant meaning. The composition is so simple and peaceful. The girl is simply enjoying her dog in that moment
- - - - When listening to the music we like (which typical has faster beats), the brain releases dopamine which is a 'good feeling' chemical in the brain

    - - Besides the sound of laugher, often people laugh in response to other people laughing or even smiling. Like the saying, laughter is contagious
        
        This would be a really cool piece to do, a person laughing , not at the viewer but capturing a person in the moment of laughing, a pure and natural smile is hard to find but I feel like genuinity is important when transferring that affect. I think this would be an amazing series to have of just people smiling.
  - - - smooth + soft can be someone who is in need of emotional reassurance
        
        Soft textures can remind us of certain things
        
        the way a soft blanket nuzzles us on a winter night or how a cold glass of iced tea feels heavenly against our cheek on a hot summer day
        
        the feel of newly mown spring grass beneath our feet or remember the joy of jumping into a pile of fall leaves as a child
      - harder surface can mean strength or masculinity
    - - can also be associated with elegance or high class
    - - Texture adds an additional emotional trigger
        
        This piece would be very interesting for people to touch. I would love to have a piece that could be more hands on for the viewers. It allows for the audience to interact with the piece besides having as a visual stimulus
  - - - CALMING Cool colors like blue and green can make you feel calm. Pastel colors and particularly cool toned pastels like baby blue, lilac and mint have a calming and relaxing effect. Neutrals like white, beige and grey can also make you feel calm. The fewer colors you combine and the more simple and pared back a design is, the more calming it will feel.
      - ENERGIZING: Strong, bright colors and neon colors can have a powerful effect on emotions. Colors like bright red, bright yellow and neon green can feel energizing and make you feel more alert, but can also be irritating on the eyes. These colors will grab your attention and stand out from their surroundings. Highly pigmented, strong colors like royal blue, turquoise, magenta and emerald green can also have a stimulating effect and make you feel refreshed and energized.

      - evoke feelings of happiness, optimism and energy.
      - have an attention grabbing effect and signal danger or make you take action (think stop signs, hazard warnings and barrier tape)

      - Purple is often used to help spark creativity as it’s a mixture of blue (calm) and red (intense).
      - If a company wants to display health, beauty or security, incorporate these colors.
    - - The brighter and lighter a color, the more happy and optimistic it will make you feel.
      - Another way colors can create happy emotions is by combining multiple primary and secondary colors together for a youthful, colorful effect.

      - Many cultures focus their art around nature such as American art, Japanese art, some European movements, Chinese Art and much more
        
        Chinese Art: The natural world has long been conceived in Chinese thought as a self-generating, complex arrangement of elements that are continuously changing and interacting. Uniting these disparate elements is the Dao, or the Way.
        
        In the Chinese imagination, mountains were a sacred power as manifestations of nature’s vital energy. Mountains pierced by caves and grottoes were viewed as gateways to other realms leading to Daoist paradises where aging is arrested and inhabitants live in harmony.
