I’m a very skeptical person and assumed that people who didn’t identify with male or female were “snowflakes.”

I have done a significant amount of research since then and have talked to people about this and my mind has changed. It is hard to change my mind on topics and I want to use the information I gather to educate people to understand gender isn’t binary.
I’m interested in this topic because around 3 years ago when gender was being more discussed, I believed that there were only two genders.
Do not jump to conclusions or judge others because they are different than you. There is likely a reason they are the way they are and it is important to learn about others before making a judgment. I judged and I was most definitely in the wrong!
Inclusion of every human
Validating intersex and gender-nonconforming folks is a step to make the world more peaceful and unify us so that more empathy can be used

Mental illness, homosexuality, and females having equal rights was frowned upon and it excluded many folks on the basis of people not being accepting.
It is important to make people feel accepted; 1.6% of the population identifies as intersex so it is important that we understand those individuals instead of judging them.
