Number eight
The player in the back of the scrum, usually takes the ball out

Center
outside center: faster of the two centers, this player is used to gain yards and charge the defense
inside center: decoy runner for fly-half, and back-up kicker

Wing
Fast players, but when they have possession of the ball, their main job is to offload the ball
Prop.
Smaller, more muscular players, usually involved in the ruck
Full back
Strong tackler, and the last line of defense, this player must make the tackle or the opposing team will score

Conversion
2 points: A free kick awarded after a try, the points are awarded when the ball is kicked between the posts
Penalty Kick
3 points: Opposing team has the opportunity to gain 3 points after the opposing team causes infringement
Drop Goal
3 points: Can be kicked out of the hand, as long as the ball bounces first

Ruck
A ruck is formed when the offence is tackled and one player from the offense and one player from the defense push back and forth to try to get possession of the ball
