By adding the concept of development, sustainable development means not only that humankind should satisfy its current needs without compromising the ability of future generations doing the same. Along with it also comes an idea of societal progress and an increase in quality of life.
Social Sustainability is a process or framework that promotes wellbeing within an organisation's own members while also supporting the ability of future generations to maintain a healthy community

Cultural sustainability as it relates to sustainable development to sustainability has to do with the maintaining of cultural beliefs, cultural practices, heritage conservation, culture as its own entity and attempts to answer the question of whether or not any given cultures will exist in the context of the future
