Quote: “The food industry is divided. The Grocery Manufacturers Association and supporters have campaigned to defeat labeling proposals in California and Washington. The organic, or pesticide-free, food industry is a major supporter of labeling efforts, anticipating more growth from shoppers frightened by GMOs” (GMOs and Engineered Food).

Can make superweeds
Quote: "These superweeds were spawned by overuse of the chemical on fields planted with herbicide-resistant crops, mostly GMO corn and soybeans from Monsanto. To combat superweeds, farmers have been spraying more and more of the chemical and are looking to new, more powerful chemicals and chemical mixtures" (ewg.org).

Claim: The fact GMO corporations try to stop there products from getting labeled shows they are hungry for money
Evidence: “The food industry is divided.
Counterclaim: Lucca Postma I would say that having GMOs labeled would show very much confusion, and also the cost of labeling the product would use unnecessary money.
Counter argument Joseph: While it could cause confusion, it would also inform people to make better financial choices to buy what they want without having to take a gamble with their OWN money, also a few millimeters of black ink wouldn't cost too much money.
