(Savannah U.)Counterclaim: (although I personally agree with this,) couldn´t we develop different types of pesticides? if Monsanto creates multiple types, farmers could use the different types of pesticide different days or weeks. there wouldn't have to be too much verity, probably just 5 different types. The bugs wouldn´t be able to adapt to so many pesticides at once, it would be too much for them. They might eventually adapt, however, that could be an option while scientists develop a more permanent solution.
Counter argument: Well, while that is a good point, we made GMOs to stop using pesticides. By using pesticides again, we'd be back at ground 0, it would just be an endless cycle.
