GMO
By Andrew S.
Benefits
Reduces pollution
Quote: “GM or genetically modified crops with herbicide-resistant traits can allow farmers to manage weeds without relying on the traditional method of tilling fields. Generally, less tillage results in fewer tractor-related emissions. In 2015 alone, this led to the equivalent of removing twelve million cars from the road” (THE POSSIBILITY INSIDE A SEED).
This shows how much carbon it would be like.
No more Starvation
Quote: “Since the introduction of herbicide-resistant maize, farmers in South Africa have experienced notable gains in income and efficiency” (THE POSSIBILITY INSIDE A SEED ).
These are some statistics on how hunger has gone down and how they benefit starvation.

Concerns
Risk of Toxicity
Quote: “Some argue that people who fill their diet with GMOs will be at an increased risk of toxicity and that eating GMOs can increase chances of developing tumors, such as in the lungs, breasts or colon, according to a 2013 study published in Annals of Agriculture and Environmental Medicine” (GMO Foods: The Good, the Bad and the Confusing).

Claim: We sometimes eat Gmos without knowing and if we don't know what we eat we can probably get sick or die if the Gmo is not healthy for us.
Evidence: For example "Some argue that people who fill their diet with GMOs will be at an increased risk of toxicity and that eating GMOs can increase chances of developing tumors, such as in the lungs, breasts or colon, according to a 2013 study published in Annals of Agriculture and Environmental Medicine” (GMO Foods: The Good, the Bad and the Confusing).

Claim: If we add Gmos so a plant grows faster we can end starvation and have enough food for everybody.
Evidence: “Since the introduction of herbicide-resistant maize, farmers in South Africa have experienced notable gains in income and efficiency” (THE POSSIBILITY INSIDE A SEED ).
Griffin M Counterclaim: If we have enough land already for farmers to grow a crop, than they don't need to have double growth GMO plants.
Evidence: Researchers say this is a critical step towards increasing crop production to feed a growing global population.
CounterArgument: If you have the land its good but there is places that there isn't food and this can help people going to starvation.
