Documentary Idea
Skateboarding
Skateboarding is an area I explored in year 1's Final Project. I have alot of insight being part of the culture and have been able to explore and produce merit standard work when using this subject. However I wish to create something different for this years Finale.
Rave Culture
Rave culture is another area that I have interest and knownledge in as being part of that culture. I feel I would be able to produce an interest and informative documentary as I have friends that run raves and own sound systems that are used at squat parties and varies festivals. However raves are not something that happens every weekend and various people involved in setting up these events can be difficult to get in contact with and some would rather not appear in a documentary.
Women in Skateboarding
Women in skateboarding is an area I have a strong interest and somewhat of knowledge for. Being part of a skateboarding community I would be able to gain interviews showcasing opinions fairly easily as well as knowing a few female skateboarders that would love to have their opinions on the subject heard. This subject is also relative as skateboarding has just been added to the Olympics having a team of female and male skateboarders. I have experience in filming skateboarding documentaries and feel I would be able to produce and interesting documentary.

I would focus on how raves are organised, what kinds of people attend raves, why people go to raves and why they are in dissagrement with the law
