Levels of Measurement
Ordinal scales : measure rank-ordered data ex; 1st, 2nd, 3rd class ranks
Interval scales ; not only rank-ordered but are also in between from adjacent attributes ex;difference between 30 and 40 degree Fahrenheit is the same as that between 80 and 90 degree Fahrenheit.
Nominal scales; categorical scales measure categorical data ex:(two values: male or female,)
Ratio scale; qualities of nominal, ordinal, and interval scales, and in addition, also have a “true zero” points :
