I. Curriculum 🔖

Course Evaluation feedback-3239758_640

II. Curriculum Aims/Goals 🎯

Being unspecific, overall descriptions of intentions or terminal objectives that are given without any criteria of success or mastery level, general features of aims/goals of a curriculum include the following sub-branches.

They are programmatic and are usually not specific to a course item or a goal.⭐

They are related to the educational aims and philosophy.❓

They address to the achievement of group of students instead of individuals. (e.g. success of most of the learners, learners in general, or all learners is considered) 👥

Curriculum aims/goals can be defined as way-openers for more specific educational terms, curriculum objectives.
(e.g. students develop a sense of civic responsibility → students attain the significance of paying taxes and voting)✍🏻 🇹🇷

III. Curriculum Objectives 🏁

Definition 🖊

Features

Differences from Aims/Goals

They are specific statements that are measurable anticipations of what learners are to know and be able to do, which are generally considered in terms of the following sub-branches.

Processes ✅
(e.g. expressing the aim of learning activities)

Products/performance 🚩
(e.g. what is to be the end product of an activity)

Learning Outcomes 👨🏻‍🎓
(e.g. what is to be learnt by the students)

As opposed to the specifity of the objectives, goals are general statements of desired learning outcomes and are present in the syllabi.

Objectives are specific lessons that are focused on specific group of learners, whereas the goals are targeted on the entirety of an audience of learners.

Objectives are measurable/assessable to direct the lesson planning unlike goals which are general way-openers for objectives as aforementioned.

IV. Syllabus 📚

V. Teaching Program 👨🏾‍🏫

Syllabi are a part of curricula.
