Kristallnacht
In 1938, a High ranking NAZI official was shot dead in Paris by a Polish Jew in response to the treatment of his family in Poland.
In response to this "Attack by the Jews", the German population looted and destroyed many of the Jewish shops in Germany.

The broken windows of the Jewish shops resembled Crystal, hence the name Kristallnacht meaning Crystal night but is referred to as The Night of Broken Glass
