BLOOM'S TAXONOMY
-
Remembering is a basic level on Bloom's taxonomy where it makes the learner use their memory to contain new information induced.
This step is to ensure the learner is able to comprehend what information they are learning; even interpreting their own definition.
-
When the learner is knowledgeable enough to replicate or redo what information they have absorbed into a situation that is similar.
EXAMPLE:
When cooking, learning a specific ingredient's usage and using it in other recipes.
Analysing is a level where an individual is able to differentiate between different components or have the skill to see how information correlate and connects with one another. From here they would be able to summarise and clearly explain the displayed statistics or results.
-
In this stature, evaluating is an important aspect to learning. When evaluating, the learner would be able to recognize and offer improvements, comprehend and point out the wrongs and the rights; as if criticizing or judging.
EXAMPLE:
If an individual were to take ballet, they would be able to see any mistakes or could help dancers improve.
Finally, creating is the ultimate step for cognitive thinking. Instead of just remembering, understanding, applying, analysing and evaluating; they would be able to combine their skill to structure and make a similar or completely new pattern that relates.
EXAMPLE:
In a football game, when a manager is able to create their own set of tactics or strategy.
