upper respiratory tract- nose, nasal cavity, sinuses and pharynx.

Olfactory receptors- located in the mucous {Moistens air, and traps incoming foreign particles.

Respiratory zone- sites of gas exchange surrounded by capillaries, out pouching of alveolar duct.
Gas exchange- between alveioli and capillaries. Oxygen enters blood, co2 enters alveioli, Macrophanges add protection.
