When I anticipate my first glimpse of heaven, I remember the first time I went snorkeling.
I saw countless fish of every shape, size and color. Just when I thought I'd seen the most beautiful fish, along came one even more striking. Etched in my memory is the sound of a gasp going through my snorkel as my eyes were opened to a breathtaking underwater world.
As believers, I imagine our first glimpse of heaven will cause us to gasp in a similar way—with amazement and delight. That first gasp will likely be followed by many more as we continually encounter new sights in that endlessly wonderful place.
Though most of us are in no hurry to get to our final destination, we all have questions about it. After in-depth study of the Scriptures, here are some of the most frequently asked questions.
Platos cave
The idea behind plateaus cave was to show how differently philosopher thought compared to other people with the other people being the ones in the cave who only lived in complete darkness and shadow who where blind to the light that was outside the cave and when this person left the cave and seen the real world and how it actually is he tiered to tell the rest about what is really real and that there life has been a lie.
The cave people response is supposed to represent us and how people may view philosophers. With the cave people calling him insane and not believing him and eventually started to throw rocks at him which is just rude if you ask me.
The actions of the cave men is supposed to reflect on ow we treat philosophers with less respect and calling them insane for trying to find the #Meaning of the universe witch sounded absurd at the time. This story is also used to show the philosophers perspective of the world where they look for other explanations for the world they live in different to the other people who are content with believe in their intentionally wrong world. when plates explored out of the cave he found a different view of reality that to modern day us would seem like the norm. this story was partially made to give us an idea of what the world could be and to make us think that maybe we are the cave men in this situation who just believe in whats infront of them
