Patient with family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma

Trulicity (Dulaglutide)- Taken once weekly

Byetta (Exenatide)- Taken twice daily

Bydureon- Taken once weekly

Diarrhea

Normally prescribed for patients who have not been able to control their condition with tablet medication.

Dosage

Maintenance: 30 - 50 mg once a week

Max: 50 mg once a week

Starting: 30 mg once a week

May administer without regard to food

If dose is missed, patient should administer ASAP within 3 days of missed dose.
