Continuity and change: Although Canada being one of the best countries in the world to live as a minority, Jewish people are still facing anti-semitism and continues to struggle in hateful crimes especially targeting their community. On the other hand, more people in Canada are aware of the issue of prejudice and discrimination against Jewish people. Therefore, changes in perspective and attitudes towards Jews truly have changed for the better. The increase in voices for Jews against anti-Semitism shown a sense of sympathy to this minority group in Canada. At the same time, with the increasing number of hate crimes targeting Jews in recent years, the public’s attention has been brought back to protect the Jewish community by introducing security audits. Overall, the voyage of St. Louis showed its significance in shaping Canada's modern record of decreasing anti-Semitism and showed a positive change in attitude towards the Jewish community in general.
