- - - - Some positive outcomes of Global trade are that we us consumers can get new and improved goods. If there is something you want and it is not made in your country you can buy it from another than might make it perfectly, since it might be their tradition. If you want chopsticks, you are not going to buy them from America, you are going to buy them from China since that was where it originated and they would of perfected the art of making them since they have been around for so long.
    - - Global trade brings in positive affects and negative affects. Most of the negative affects occur in developing countries. Developing countries are countries that are poor and trying to build up. Most of the richer countries such a Australia and USA (Developed Countries) pay very little money for them to make stuff. Where these people work for our little pay are called sweatshops. Particularly Woman make clothes for 15 hours a day making it not only illegal but unsafe work conditions. Poor children have to work these hours as well for money for their family. Sweatshops have poor working conditions, unfair wages, unreasonable hours an possibly child labor. With child labour there is low rates of attendance at school, low level technology compared to other countries, and a lack of government policies to deal with child labour.

    - - Appropriate use of food means using food safely and knowledge about nutrition. You need fats, fibers, vegetables etc. In a part of this you need safe food, This is food (typically meat) that is not expired. If it is the bacteria has got to it and can lead to diseases or food poisoning.

        Water Scarcity is when water becomes hard to find. Since our climate is constantly changing, some countries get barely any rainfall making it very hard to grow crops. Without crops there is no food which rises food poverty and lowers the food security rating
        
        Climate Change
        
        Climate change refers to long term changes in weather. All of these greenhouse gases and making a layer of smog in the air keeping the heat in making it warmer and warmer every day. In the last 100 years the temperature have raised 1.5 degrees Fahrenheit. This is enough heat to melt ice. This is bad since Greenland holds 9% of the worlds freshwater ice and if this melts our sea levels will rise 20 ft wiping out thousands of farms near the coast making food more expensive and rare.
        
        Threats from non-native plant
        
        They can have a devastating effect on the environment . Pests can ruin food in an instant making it inedible and throwing away once perfect food. Pests such as the Khapra beetle grown in stores of grain and makes 70% of it inedible, which means there is food waste
        
        Competition for Land
        
        When you have land you can farm and grow lots of food and house many people. Food Security comes under threat when competition for land comes in. People or Corporations like to build on these lands for business when it can really be used for growing crops, for food. Lands that was once productive for growing food has now got houses, mines, golf courses etc. It threats food security since there isn't anywhere to plant food causing the food to be more scarce and more expensive.
        
        The use of land for fuel instead of food
        
        this term refers to biofuels and that is when we use our farm land for fuel instead of food. Biofuels are massive in Brazil making up 15% of its energy and has a high demand more it there. People cut down load and loads of perfect animal inhabited land to grow these. It releases carbon dioxide into the atmosphere causing it to get warmer and warmer everyday. This will then melt ice lands ice, which holds 9% of the worlds freshwater ice. If that melts out sea levels can rise 20 ft wiping out coasts and farms. This will increase food poverty and global warming
        
        Armed Conflict
        
        Armed conflicts have the potential to affect the food security. It does because some people could be growing illegal plants such as Marijuana. The army or police officers can raid the house depending how big the overall things is. This can lead to people getting shot and their land getting taken away or unused again. It can also jeopardize towns. This is because people are to scared to go outside then all their plants die and there is not enough food left

        Aquatic biomes are found under water and are also known as marine biomes. There is a biome called coral reef and that is where sea life mostly live and vast diversity in coral

        a Biome that is covered in tress. The trees can be called taiga or boreal

        tundra biomes are found at the top of mountains. These biomes have no trees only some grass, very cold and not that much wildlife
      - Grassland
        
        Grassland biomes has lots and lots of grass, they hold a very strong ecosystem with a lot of predators and survivors. there are a lot of animals and a lot of grass for food for all types of animals. They provide the bulk of humans population of food, corn, rice, wheat. The soil happens to be fertile so it is easy to grow foods and is a perfect places to live.
    - - degradation means the ruining of land. Humans alter and degradate biomes by mostly population. If humans was to build a population on grassland they are going to build houses. This ruins the soil making it infertile, causing no crops to grow.
  - - - Biofuels are fuels that are grown on farms other than food. This is bad because we are taking the perfect growing conditions for food and turning it into a biofuel farm. This messes up the economy making food more expensive and increasing food poverty. 15% of Brazil's power is run by biofuels so they have a very high demand and cut down loads of bush land to grow biofuels. They consist of palm oil, which comes from the African oil palm tree.
    - - The temperature and climate changes biomes significantly. If the temperature rises 1 degree Celsius is melts ice. This 1 degree increase might seem little but it is big in the climate matter. Ice lands and snow biomes will come to threat in melting ice. This makes the animals that are use to their environment struggle and dont know what to when the ice melts. Polar bears get stuck on tiny icebergs that slowly melt and they would die in the middle of the ocean from drowning. The temperature can change the climate causing there to be decreased water. If this keeps on going on desertification will occur a lot around everywhere making infertile soil and bad growing conditions
