In teams, students will begin to match weather conditions to specific places in the world. For example, provide students with a map of the world and weather cards. Ask students to predict which part of the world is more likely to sustain the weather conditions on the card. During Kid Watching, monitor the use of vocabulary terms; weather, sunny, snowy, rainy, warm, cold, north, south, east and west. Ask students to record their findings in their science journals/notebooks.
