The balloons going up to the the night sky interprets how us, humans, are always pointing on towards the mystery, towards the unknown. It explores the complexity of the darkness: even though the night is dark, there will always be something brightening.
Unlike most images this one doesn't show us any human-made objects except for the boat. It expresses that human and nature can live in harmony without the need to harm one another.
The lack of colours in these pictures reflect an enigmatic mood. The connotation of the skull, the term "ciao" and the passionate hug are connected to the concept of death and loss.
