Panel meeting what is an open assessment
Keeping out of young people out of the criminal justice system.
This is normally handled by the police
Keeping them out of the CJS
10 point check- policy for lack children/ unstable family's . Police may try tactics to divert .
10-17 year olds
the young offender is referred to a panel of two trained
community volunteers and a member of the youth offending team
3-12 months duration
referral order's are reparation/restitution for the victim.
