avoid asking questions
if you ask questions, the other person might not have a responde and then your scene will die.
say "yes'and!"
always say yes and to continue with the scene. It is important you don't deny things and stop talking because you ruin the scene.
be specific

show, don't tell
be sure to not only talk and talk for the whole scene, a part of acting is algo showing what your are saying and doing actions.
avoid asking questions
if you can, it is always best to avoid asking question to the person you are acting with. It is best to just go on with the scene.
establish, who, what, where

help your fellow actor
if you see that your actor is struggling, try to help them out by saying something that will give them ideas to talk.
DONT'S OF IMPROV

don't talk about the past or future events
don't talk about past scenes, be focused in the scene you are doing.
don't ask questions
you don't need to know the reason why the other actor is doing something, just go with the flow and let the scene go.
don't deny
always agree to what the other actor is saying so that your scene doesn't die. Denying makes it worse.

always do something
always be doing something, act as much as you can to make the scene better.
be present
be active, be on the moment, always be thinking of whats going on in the scene so you don't get lost.
