Dose
Premix insulin = administer two-third of total basal insulin mane & one-third in the evening. Educate about dose titration algorithm to gain pre-prandial glucose targets.
Basal insulin = 10 units taken nocte. Titration algorithm must be taught to the patient to achieve glucose fasting which needs to be monitored.
