EXAMPLES FROM THE TEXT ABOUT GROUPS LEADERSHIP
There are many different types of people in one group there's the Informal Role that go over the orders and operations of a specific task to a group, a task role one who takes orders to help solve a problem, Social roles one who maintains smooth personal relationships among group members, and the dysfunctional role one who sort of just watches the group do the work. Group leadership is an important role with a lot of responsibilities since everyone in the group is depending on that one person
CONNECTION WITH PERSONAL LIFE
I've been in situations where I was the leader of my group and at first it felt powerful and courageous to get that standing ovation but overall I realized that the work I have to put into this is group is quite hectic given the fact that I was the only one who knew what we were supposed to do so it was challenging but manageable. I would say that my response to being a leader of the group lead me to believe that I was in the position of a "situational leadership" which is leader that is in power and completes a proper task structure.
