Elements and Principles_Assessment 1
Brief:
Research the Elements and Principles of graphic design and create an eight-page folded booklet displaying the four most important (as revealed by your research) Elements and Principles of Graphic Design.
Part Two: Design
Using the InDesign template (Connect) design your eight-page folded booklet
Include your original captured work and your own interpretation of the element or principle (this could be; vector, raster or analogue)
Create 3 variations of your initial layout
Include a separate bibliography/reference page,
Include a written description for each
Part Three: Final outcome
Evaluate your designs, using self-evaluation, feedback from peers and testing of design layout (note evaluation in your visual diary)
Choose and finalize design, making modifications from feedback
Create a print ready .pdf booklet
Part One: Research
Research what each of the elements and principles involves
Find a digital/online or analogue/printed example of Graphic Design works that incorporates the element or principle
Find or write your own description of the element or principle and discuss how each is used in your found examples
Analyse and document each example and description and choose (in your opinion) the four most important economic, social and historical context for the design solution
