Relevance
Definition: having any tendency to make the existence of any fact of consequence to the action more probable than it would without the evidence
Legal Relevance: FRE403- court has discretion if probative value outweighs the danger of unfair prejudice, confusion of issues, misleading the jury, undue delay, needless presentation of cumulative evidence
Exceptions: causation- similar accidents or injuries caused by the same event OR similar acts that prove habit, intent, routine, or industrial custom
