70 year old patient develop respiratory problems such as pneumonia, fast, shallow breathing and a wet, wheezy cough when she moved to Denver, CO

-
-
Factors That Led
Age
as she got older, her thoracic cavity began to ossify (cartilage turn into bone)
-
Location
Denver, CO is at a higher elevation than her home town
-
Effects
Age
reason why her thoracic cage began to ossify and muscle began to atrophy is maybe because she didn't exercise as much or take a lot of deep breaths periodically to build those lungs/thoracic cage up
of course as she got older, her immune is not a strong to fight against infections
-
Location
because of higher elevation, the air is much more thin
-
-
Presence of Virus
with fluid in her lungs and the cough , its make bacteria/viruses a lot easier to settle in
shallow breathing, wet wheezy cough
