Anatomy of the Heart
When heart contracts, it pumps blood throughout the entire body. Deoxygenated blood is taken to the lungs where it is loaded with oxygen and unloads CO2.

The heart is an organ that is muscular and is about the size of a closed fist. Sits in the chest left/middle.
