Maintenance: 100 - 300 mg once daily
Max: 300 mg once daily
Starting: 100 mg once daily
Take before first meal of the day
contraindications
patients with renal insufficiency (GFR < 45 mL/min/1.73m2)
patients on dialysis

indications
prescribed for patients with hypoglycemia
They can be used in patients with longstanding diabetes provided renal function is acceptable.
