Dwarves: The dwarves created by Aule in the darkness of middle earth, Aule wanted learners that he could teach, but Aule did not wait for Iluvatar or his permission. He hid their creation from the other Valar, but Iluvatar found out and was upset because he thought Aule had created them out of dishonor and selfishness. But Aule cared for them, and there was much room on Arda, so Iluvatar spared them. But he did not improve them as he wanted them to be less than his children, and they would war against his children. But the dwarves would aid Aule in rebuilding Arda after Melkor breaks it. Aule created them to be strong, and unyielding, Aule would teach them his tricks of the smith. The dwarves live are longer than men, but not nearly as long as elves. Along with not telling the other Valar, Aule did not tell his spouse Yavanna, until their creation was almost done. When Aule told Yavanna she was displeased, so she said that the dwarves would not love the things she loves, which is everything that grows on the earth.
