What is Geography
Georgraphy is the study of the physical features of the Earth's atmosphere & of human activity. (distribution of populations , recourses, political & economic activities.

DIRECTION
Examples
North (N), South (S), East (E) , West (W), NW, SW, NE, SE google maps, compass, maps etc
How do we use it?
To use direction, you need to know simple coordinates such as North , East , South , West & the difference between your left and your right to read and understand directions.
What is it?
Direction is the path that someone / something takes to get to a specific place/destination
SCALE
Examples
You can scale your/others weight. Length/width/height (L+W+H) Or simple just scaling a human reflex/ timing.
How do we use scale
We use scale as a way of measuring. To use scale you need to first know what you're scaling as how you're going to scale your chosen/designated object to be scaled.
Why do we need scale
We need scale as it helps us understand what is happening on Earth and how us human effect the Earth around us.

Cultural features
Cultural features are any object, building, site or structure of significance to history of a country or are in which a part of history has happened
Physical Features
Phsyical features are anything shaped by the earth. Such as vegetation , climate & soil of the earth.

Aesthetic value
Aesthetic value is the amount of pleasure you feel when looking at something E:G Mountains & the sun setting.
Cultural value
Cultural value is the value cultures have for something related to their culture which can be such as :
Spiritual Value
Spiritual values are human values. Spiritual values fufill the need of human consciousness.

Geomorhpic Hazards.
Ways to prevent it
Preventing them
You can't really prevent a natural disaster, but you can always be prepared by being self sufficient for a few days until the disaster passes over unless you are next to the disaster, then you need to get your important things and leave the rest behind and get to safety EG : If you live next to the beach and a flood warning is signaled you need to get your things and go.
Migitation
Mitigation is to reduce the severity of a natural disaster preparing for it before it occuors to reduce life loss and financial damadge
Being prepared
Always have a bag of essentials and must haves incase a sudden warning for a natural disaster occurs.
A Geormorphic hazard is a natural disaster EG Volcanic erruptions , earthquakes, avalanches, landslides & tsunamis

A tectonic plate is a rock which can be hundreds to thousands of kilometres across the Pacific and Artic plates. Tectonic plates are also the piece's of Earth's crust and mantle.

Urbanisation
Urbanisation Is when populations of people grow, the population of a play may spread over form cities to areas nearby.
Week 9
