Impact on people, ocean, impact
ocean- greenhouse gases trap more energy from the sun, the oceans are absorbing more heat, resulting in an increase in sea surface temperatures and rising sea level. Changes in ocean temperatures and currents brought about by climate change will lead to alterations in climate patterns around the world. Coral Bleaching , fish migration, drowning wetlands, ocean acidification.
People- crop changes- Climate change may actually benefit some plants by lengthening growing seasons and increasing carbon dioxide. Yet other effects of a warmer world, such as more pests, droughts, and flooding,
-
Climate immigration- people have to leave there homes because of flooding, disastrous storms, and loss of crops.
Diseases- Diseases are transmitted with lack of crops there is lack of nutrition, there is mental health, with high heat, floods and droughts. Diseases transmitted through insects.
Income- climate change would increase income inequalities between and within countries. a small increase in global mean temperature (up to 2 °C, measured against 1990 levels) would result in net negative market sector in many developing countries and net positive market sector impacts in many developed countries.

What is the difference between weather and climate?
Weather is the the condition of the climate for a short amount of time.
Climate is how the atmosphere is over long periods of time.
Why do we have seasons?
The Earth is tilted, and as it makes its way around the sun each year, different parts of the sun warm different parts of the Earth.

How we know what the atmosphere was like 800,000years ago
We drilled deep into ice caps and used a machine to take air out of air pockets trapped in the ice. The air was very cold, letting us know what the climate was like in that time period.
Why is there a huge concentration of weather biomes?
The deserts are being created by the winds coming from rainforests, trying to make it to the poles but falling short.
How does the greenhouse affect work?
Step 1: Solar radiation reaches the Earth's atmosphere - some of this is reflected back into space.
Step 2: The rest of the sun's energy is absorbed by the land and the oceans, heating the Earth.
Step 3: Heat radiates from Earth towards space.
Step 4: Some of this heat is trapped by greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, keeping the Earth warm enough to sustain life.
Step 5: Human activities such as burning fossil fuels, agriculture and land clearing are increasing the amount of greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere.
Step 6: This is trapping extra heat, and causing the Earth's temperature to rise.

Impact of albedoalbedo and its impact on climate
It determines how much radiation the planet is absorbing.
A high albedo surface reflects 80% of incoming radiation. The low albedo surface reflects only 10% of incoming radiation.
impact of sea ice vs. land ice on sea level rise
that's because white sea ice reflects the sun. So when it melts, the dark open ocean now absorbs sunlight and heats up, raising global temperatures, which in turn cause glaciers and ice sheets on land to melt further.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is a UN body that evaluates climate science. Its scientists look at the current impacts and future risks of a changing climate. They analyze options to mitigate the damage and adapt to a changing world
Oceans Moderating climate
The ocean has moderated the effects of excess carbon dioxide in the atmosphere by absorbing large amounts of the gas. ... Overall, the world's oceans have kept the planet from experiencing the full effects of a changing climate due to their ability to absorb heat and carbon dioxide.
