Treatment
There is no specific antiviral therapy for acute hepatitis E. Physicians should offer supportive therapy. Patients are typically advised to rest, get adequate nutrition and fluids, avoid alcohol, and check with their physician before taking any medications that can damage the liver, especially acetaminophen.
There is currently no cure for hepatitis D, but treatment can help people manage the condition. For people with chronic hepatitis D, a doctor will often prescribe a medicine called pegylated interferon-alpha, which reduces the risk of the condition worsening
hepatitis A usually requires no treatment resolves spontaneously does not become chronic
Acute Hepatitis B treatment with lamivudine, tenofovir, entecavir
Chronic Hepatitis B usually controlled with alphainterferon and combination of nucleoside analog antiviral drugs.
Acute Hepatitis C is treated with interferon for 12to 24 weeks rivarin maybe added is the condition does not clear
Chronic Hepatitis C combinations of sofosbuvir and various other antiviral drugs
