What is Social change
A social change therefore looks at the changes in society and how it impacts the human element

When people from rural areas relocate to urban areas in search for work
During the industrial revolution, many people were forced to urbanized due to the lack of work in rural districts
Changing living conditions
Overcrowded Housing
Due to the massive influx of people into the cities in search of factory work, the housing devlepments could not keep up and a lot of people therefore had to squeeze into small living spaces.
this leads to overcrowding house epidemic;the overcrowding epidemic leads to the spread of disease which is exacerbated by the poor hygiene
Workhouses
Workhouses were places where people who were employed in factories would sometimes live. The conditions were very bad and they would often work for board and lodging.
Poverty
Because there were so many people in the urban areas there were a lot of people who were willing to work. There were not enough jobs available and those who were not payed.
More and more people poured into the urban centers,but the amount of work available did not increase leading to a massive poverty problem in cities
The working classes were people that would work in the factories for money.They changed from farmers in rural areas to workers in urban areas.
The other social changes mentioned affected this class this most as they were finding it more and more difficult to find work due to rise of machinery.
